a.k.a. "Pete"

AQHA Peter Gayle, a.k.a. "Pete", is an excellent all around gelding for any rider. He is a grandson of Poco Pine by Poco Bueno.

Pete's been used for just about everything, but roping is his specialty. We've used him for breakaway and team roping at jr. rodeos as well as dragging calves to the fire on the range. He stands collected, alert and quiet in the box.

Pete has carried flags in the parades, and has been used for Queen's competitions. He side passes, slides, backs, trims and loads easy and has been used by my 8- and 10-year-old cousins for flags, barrels, and poles at local gymkhanas. Pete's also been used for grand entries as well as a lesson horse for level one beginning riders.

This 16-year-old gelding is a great horse and willing to do anything you ask. Perfect for beginning riders or experienced ropers.
